Prior to founding Be Design, Tobie worked with Rockwell Group and was involved in the design of Nobu in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

In celebration of Nobu Dubai's 15th anniversary, the restaurant relocated to the former Royal Bridge Suite of the Atlantis Palm. The new location is a continuation of our story of Japanese craft that spans almost three decades. This exploration of materiality is a reflection Chef Nobu’s inventive, non-traditional cuisine: the quality and translucency of the fish, the composition of color and texture in each dish, and the melding of Japanese and Peruvian cuisine.
