Prior to founding Be Design, Tobie worked with Rockwell Group and was involved in the design of an undisclosed hotel project in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The hotel draws inspiration from the surrounding desert landscape and surrealistic art forms. Architectural elements are reminiscent of Palm Springs mid century modern architecture and contribute to the experience of a desert mirage.
